Sabrina Gabriele, B.Ed., M.Sc., BCBA
Sabrina Gabriele has been committed to working with children and adolescents in both school and community settings for over 20 years, with expertise in treating Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Relations, as well as a degree in Education (B.Ed.), a Masters of Science Degree (M.Sc.) in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism, and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
In the past, she has experience working as an ABA Therapist, an Integration Aide, and a Resource Teacher. For 12 years she was employed as a Consultant for Autism at Lester B. Pearson School Board, where she supported schools in managing challenging behaviors with students with ASD. Her role also included being part of a multidisciplinary team representing the Center of Excellence for Autism Spectrum Disorder (housed at Lester B. Pearson School Board). As part of the COE, Sabrina was responsible for several other mandates, such as providing professional development for school boards and organizations across Quebec.
Sabrina currently works as a BCBA at Summit School. In this role, she consults with teachers and staff on treating problem behaviors for neurodivergent children, adolescents, and young adults, develops behavioral intervention plans tailored to the classroom, and supports staff with the implementation process. In addition to her work at Summit, Sabrina is also the founder of SGBC, a behavioral consulting company that provides services to families, schools and daycares.
Sabrina uses a compassionate care approach with her students/clients. She has a special interest in Practical Functional Assessment and Skill-Based Treatment, and has obtained level 1 credentialing in this process through FTF Behavioral Consulting. In her spare time, Sabrina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and is a black belt in karate, training diligently for her 2nd Dan (degree) black belt.
